This is my first submission for unit 5, in response to the brief to create a Body of Chronicles, which tells the story of our cohort’s becoming over our first year.
My submission takes the form of an interactive workbook, which aims to explore the complexity of representing individual and collective (and subjective-objective) experience simultaneously.
This has been a challenging submission, mainly due to life circumstances: I was in the UK throughout the process of completing this assignment and had failed to anticipate this workload during my trip, so hadn’t planned around it. I think it has suffered from a lack of time for reflection and iteration. My plan was to include voicenotes providing additional insights and reflections – expanding on what is on the page – but I ran out of time to complete these.
Still, I enjoyed the opportunity to push forward my design practice and the invitation to reflect on this past year.
